Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25
Lots of people go to church for years without developing a close relationship with anyone else, or with Christ. At Evangelical Free Church of Chico (EFCC) small groups are designed to maximize interaction, stimulate thinking and promote deep discussion as a means of experiencing both social and spiritual growth.

Most meetings include time for sharing and prayer, teaching and discussion, and both organized and informal relationship building. Some of our groups offer DVD-based studies on topics like "Romans 12" by Chip Ingram, "Prayer" by Jim Cymbala or "Forgiveness" by Andy Stanley. Some of our groups offer expository (verse-by-verse) studies through a specific book of the Bible. Whether it's an in-depth Bible study, watching a DVD series or discussing a devotional book as a group, there is always interaction, growth and fellowship.

Anyone: couples, singles, families, retirees, students. There are small groups that appeal to every segment of the church, and everyone is encouraged to participate.

Our desire is to provide at least one small home group in each geographic area of our community, from north Chico to Paradise to the Durham area. If you would like to host a small group in your home, please notify the church office.

1. Indicate your interest in joining a small group; on the Connection Card during our worship services or;
2. Notify the church office at frontoffice@efcChico.org or;
3. Notify Pastor Art Worthington at arthurw@efcChico.org (Home Group Coordinator) or;
4. Inquire directly with a small group leader or host that you know.
If you're not currently attending a small group, we strongly encourage you to join one. They are the best place to experience a safe, intimate setting where people share and care, pray and learn, and see the dynamic power of God's Word, Spirit and Church transform lives.
