We begin our Advent series, O Come, O Come Emmanuel, by focusing on the hope we have in Christ. Advent reminds us that Jesus—the victorious Lion of Judah—came to destroy the works of the enemy and fulfill God’s promise of redemption. Because of His death and resurrection, we stand in grace with a hope that never fails. This hope calls us to reorient our focus, renew our faith, prepare our hearts, and wait with anticipation as we walk in the light of the Lord.
