Station 9

Station 9 – Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem

Luke 23:27–31
Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.— Luke 23:28

As Jesus walks toward his death, a group of women weep for Him. Even in His suffering, Jesus turns outward—speaking words of warning and compassion.

Jesus shows that His concern extends beyond His own pain. He invites people to reflect, repent, and prepare their hearts for what is coming.

This moment reminds us that compassion and truth often go together. Jesus cares deeply—and He speaks honestly.
